What matters is a skill in any activity or task you perform, I as a Career Counsellor would be able to understand the personality trait of an individual were i have obtained skills about understanding the personality traits of a human being.
As all fingers are not the same every human being has different likes and dislikes in what he would do and what he would not like to do. So its important for people to understand the importance of why career counseling can be done by Career Counsellors only
It is very vital that Career counseling should be done by an expert career counselor because it is an analysis of whole career path which means this process of counseling helps the client manage their journey through life, learning and job changes. This scientific method make very transparent about personality, interest, values, skills and abilities and job opportunities, strength, merits and lackness. Apart from all of the above an expert career counselor perform his duty to give a detail and analyzed advice to the clients and help to understand stages of conscious, sub-conscious and unconscious mind, why and where stresses may be arise and how to overcome, choose a career that might be good matches with personality, understand other and own behavior, communicate better, work more co- operatively, manage people better, appreciate individual differences etc. And most important an expert Career Counselor help to get Optimized stage in life.
Career guidance is given for different people at different age for their respective queries regarding career.An expert can give counselling which is like consulting a friend, relative, senior but due focus on the counsellee or say 100 percent attention towards them.Others may just pass time or may even beat about the bush.A career counsellor with expert knowledge can make a counsellee get precise answers with all the perspectives.
A career counsellor or analyst is somebody whose career is to create right career paths.So he/ she is the one who keeps themselves updated with different fields and options to get into it.Career counselling should always be done by an expert career counsellor as they will keep every aspect in mind while determining your career path rather than just telling you to do what most of the people around are doing.Indian mentality is that when you have an elder( Grand father/ uncles) at home why do you need to pay for a wise advice,So,to be clear and crisp our elders and uncles etc either they are professors,teachers,retired personnel's etc.must be well versed in there fields of work but they are not aware of all the fields and careers that have come up or where already there in demand but because nobody knew had low supply of candidates to join them.They only know what there relatives or close friend kids are doing.

Career Counselling is a common and popular term in today’s world. Career Counselling means guiding a person to make the right decision in choosing a career. Also, it is a professional term. It is based on the judgement and analysis of a few factors. These are a person’s personality, behaviour, and interests. So, a qualified career counsellor first studies a person thoroughly. Then he or she suggests the best options for him or her. Besides, there might be some psychometric tests involved. These tests help a career counsellor to understand the person’s personality.
You need an expert to understand all the above important points. So we all should go take our career counselling to get the best out of it. It is like when we get ill, we visit the doctor for advice same way career decision are to be taken with thorough understanding.
